Professor David Folorunsho, was born on the 23rd of June 1954 into the family of Late Chief Umoveh and Mrs Aiyesomi Ishere Tom from Eshimozoko Royal Clan in Igarra, Akoko Edo Local Government Area in Edo-State. He was the first son in the family of three children, Emmanuel Adefemi Tom and Mrs. Bose Ibironke Imoukhuede (Nee. Tom).
